Here are a few pictures taken on our first trip into Tucson and beyond to the Tucson-Sonora Desert Museum. Lots of desert plants and animals, large and small in a wonderful natural habitat. The hummingbird enclosure was special as the tiny birds hovered within inches of the oohing and aahing group of onlookers. There was even one little mother sitting on her nest apparently without fear. I wore my pedometer and logged a mile and a half!
