Brrrrrrrr! Here we are in Manchester, Tennessee where my cousin Sharon and her family lived for years. They moved down the road to Tullahoma just last fall but we have parked our home on wheels in Manchester at the KOA. It was COLD yesterday and it is very cold again today. Supposed to get down to 28’ tonight. We already had a snow flurry or two this morning (no accumulation is expected) and the RV Park turned off the water last night and locked the faucet (I guess they don't trust us not to sneak out and turn it back on ... oh boy!). Fortunately, we are self-contained and can pump water from our water tank on board. Also, we always have a gallon or two of drinking water in a storage compartment. Our high today is supposed to go all the way up to 39 degrees but sunshine is expected by afternoon.
Sharon and I have known each other for years via snail then e-mail but this is our first actual meeting. What a thrill for me to be here and visit my cousin in person and I am so grateful to Phil for making an exception to his “rule” about going anywhere near cold weather. He just turned on the furnace, turned up the little heater and puts on his coat when he goes outside ... all without complaint! Thank you sweetheart!
We’ll be leaving on Tuesday January 10th moving south and west to Alabama and hopefully, we’ll find some warmer weather!
