The largest smokestack in North America, the Anaconda Stack is 585 ft. 1.5 inches tall. The Washington Monument could easily be put inside the Stack with room to spare. The smokestack is the only remainder of the Anaconda Reduction Work Copper Smelting Plant which was closed permanently in 1980.
