This past Saturday, August 5th was our great granddaughter, Carly’s 7th birthday bash at Olympia’s only roller rink—Skateland—and it was a huge success. I didn’t get a headcount but a whole bunch of kids and parents showed up and a great time was had by all. Of course, there were a few hold-outs [some old folks that valued their bones too much to take a chance on breaking one … yes I was one of those]. I can’t believe she’s seven already!
