Called Table Rocks, these interesting flat top mountains are located 10 miles northeast of Medford. Made of giant sandstone-basaltic formations, the mesas include lava caps. The two mesas are part of land purchased by the Nature Conservancy and designated as a preserve. Later turned over to the government, the preserve is managed by the Bureau of Land Management.
