One of our rare sunny days, grandson, Joe came over. He pruned the lower branches of the Camelia and Rhododendron then weeded and raked the bed underneath.

    We have two camelias. One is loaded with blooms, but the other has very, very few blooms. I wonder if they need any special care, like special fertilizer? Any idea?

    Sure nice to have help with the gardening. We have "helpers" too -- a couple of big javelinas were eating our bushes last night, and they didn't seem terribly inclined to leave with just me shouting at them. So I took a flash picture and they scattered.
