I’m sure you’ve all noticed that the longer we stay in one spot, the fewer entries there are in our blog, Backroad Chronicles. Since my blog is all about living and traveling in our home on wheels, I know I feel like I’m cheating if I write about mundane, every day activities. There is only one person on the blog circuit who has mastered that technique, our dear friend, George, the most famous RV-er in the world at http://vagabonders-supreme.net/
George can write about his breakfast, take a picture of his eggs and all his readers love to join him and revel in his contagious delight in the simple things in his life. Unfortunately, I do not have that gift.
The bottom line is that we are in a RUT … a comfy and cozy rut but a RUT just the same. My picture/genealogy/writing my mother’s biography projects have taken my mind off traveling temporarily but the time has come to button it up, pack up and get back on the road. I always know when I’m getting to that point … I start reading and living this wonderful life vicariously through the other wonderful blogs that are out there. So, until you can ride along with us again (real soon I hope) here are a couple links to take you on a travel adventure of your own.
