Walt filling our water glasses as Doug supervises. Notice my sister's table setting trademark ... each place setting is a different china pattern. Unusual as well as beautiful!

    The china set of 12 place settings was purchased by my mother in about 1960. Someone had suggested that choosing different patterns would be an interesting variation on having 12 of a single pattern, so she went that route -- except that there was one pattern that she liked so much that she bought two of them. The result is that there are 11 different china patterns.
