This sign to commemorate the short lived (1860-1861) Pony Express is located very close to Chimney Rock.

    I thought you might like to know that the "Pony Express" was also a parcel delivery company in Vancouver, my father in law worked form them for many years and my mother in law told many stories of Christmas Eve when they worked till all hours to make sure the mail got through, those days they were a truly dedicated staff.
